Sheffield Marks & Spencer staff member threatened with a syringe during robbery.

South Yorkshire Police are on the hunt for a man who threatened a staff member and stole meat from M&S.

The incident took place in Marks & Spencer on Ecclesall Road just after 10am on 5 April, SY Police said.

The man placed a ‘substantial amount of meat products in his bag’ before a security member challenged him.

The robber brandished a hypodermic needle at the staff member and then left.

Nobody was physically injured in the incident.

SY Police are now looking to identify the man in this photo as they believe he may hold vital information.
