Vacant offices transformed into new serviced offices with a rooftop bar

A four storey building on Carver Street in Sheffield was changed into new serviced offices and a rooftop bar open for the public.

Cubo Work provides modern spaces designed for co-working and private offices to companies specialising in various departments and operating in various sizes.

In addition, the building features a new rooftop bar, Alto, which will be available to the public. The new city centre bar will be offering a whole host of cocktails and premium drinks, as well as magnificent views across the city’s skyline.

Alto is planning on opening its Sheffield bar on May 17 in line with the government restrictions.

Jane Handley, Cubo’s marketing assistant said: “The plan for the rooftop bar in Sheffield is to provide a gorgeous outlook onto Sheffield, along with the green spaces that Sheffield is creating with their ‘Heart of The City’ programme, we hope it will be a hub of life.

“Having the bar alongside the office spaces in Sheffield will be a great place for members and the public to use after work, from a social aspect, it will be somewhere to go on their lunch break, and it provides that relaxing environment often needed within a busy workday.”

In April, Cubo received over 50 enquiries for hot desk memberships to access all the facilities that the office spaces provide.

Companies that bought memberships can access a full floor of co-working and hot desks with accompanying meeting rooms as well as multiple floors of private offices all complete with state-of-the-art kitchens and dining space.

Unlike other vacant offices, Cubo Works, provides working spaces to a variety of businesses.

Ms Handley said: “We do not pigeonhole ourselves in this way so are open to all tenants. For example, we currently have IT companies, recruitment companies, small start-ups, architects, all taking space from one hot desk up to a whole floor.

“Our offices are specifically designed with flexibility in mind, frosting on the glass is completely customisable and we provide desks, chairs, and lockable pedestals for tenants.”

Both companies, Cubo Works and Alto bar, operate in a variety of places across England and have decided Sheffield will be the perfect place for further expansion.
