Small businesses in Sheffield are helping to ensure that mums in Sheffield have a special Mother’s Day this Sunday, despite the coronavirus restrictions.
Sophie Bamforth, a mother of a newborn and a 17-month-old, as well as the owner of North & Wild Events, is taking grazing boxes orders made by her.
She said: “We want to reach out and give people the opportunity to do something special at home for Mother’s Day, as people can not go out for afternoon tea.
“We aimed to launch our business last February properly, but unfortunately, that was where the pandemic started. It’s difficult to keep my business organised while being a new mom, but we manage.”
Sophie’s grazing boxes cost £25, including delivery in Sheffield and are available by contacting northandwild-events@outlook.com
Papa Ciccio’s has been serving the best quality Italian food for a good price to Sheffield residents for 33 years.
The restaurant is now offering a Mother’s Day 15 per cent discount on food collection orders through the weekend to appreciate the hard work that mums been though in this tough year.
A spokesperson said: “Do not forget the only person that loves you unconditionally is your mother.”
