Three men charged with attempted murder following Sheffield Shooting

Three men have been charged with attempted murder following an firearms shooting in Westfield, Sheffield on Monday evening. 

Isiah Ellis, 21, of Shortbrook Way, Benjamin Wilks, 20, of Spinkhill View and Chris Collins, 31, of Grange Road have each been charged with attempted murder and possession of a shotgun with intent to endanger life.

The men appeared at the Sheffield Magistrates court yesterday.

South Yorkshire Police where called to a Cowley Gardens in Westfield area at 11.20pm on Monday in response to reports that two men, aged 25 and 26, had suffered gunshot related injuries.

Since then, the two men have been discharged from hospital.

A fourth man, 21, who was arrested for potential involvement in the shooting has since been realised on bail.

Officers are still enquiring and urging anyone with information to call 111, and quote incident number 1083 of Monday 1 March.
