Roads have reopened after a lorry crashed into a footbridge near the city centre this morning.
The crane on the back of the lorry crashed into the footbridge as the truck tried to pass under at 10am.
The driver said : “I was just driving along and I had that awful heart sinking feeling when the crane hit the bridge.”
Traffic is now flowing smoothly.
